What is a cookie?
A cookie is personalized data that we use to keep track of your information. For example, when you sign in, a cookie lets us remember who you are. Since the cookie contains this type of information, and not programs that can run, a cookie cannot contain a virus.

We don't give your cookie information to other organizations and no one else has access to it. A cookie cannot be used to extract information from your system. For added security, much of the information in your cookie is encrypted.

How can I tell if cookies are enabled on this computer?
To check to see if cookies are enabled, click the following link; if a blank page appears, cookies are disabled. If a page with any text on it appears (it will look like a long code), that means your cookies are enabled. You'll need to use your browser's "Back" button to return to this page either way. How do I accept cookies?
Are your cookies enabled?

To use Cupid.com, you MUST have cookies enabled (accept cookies).

The following are instructions for enabling Cookies for the most popular browsers.

For Internet Explorer 7:
1. Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select Internet Options.
3. Click on Privacy.
4. Move the slider to "Medium High" (or lower, whatever you prefer).

For Internet Explorer 6:
1. Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select Internet Options.
3. Click on Security.
4. Click on Internet Web content zone.
5. If necessary, move the slider to "Medium."

For Internet Explorer 5:
1. Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select Internet Options.
3. Click on Security.
4. Click on Custom Settings... (you may have to click on Default Level first).
5. Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
6. Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable."

For Internet Explorer 4:
1. Click the View button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select Internet Options.
3. Click on Advanced.
4. Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
5. Select Always accept cookies.

Mozilla Firefox 2:
1. Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select "Options...".
3. Click the "Privacy" icon.
4. Under the Cookies section, put a check next to "Accept cookies from sites".

Netscape 6 and higher and Mozilla 1.3.1 and higher
1. From the main browser toolbar, click on Edit.
2. Select the Preferences choice from this menu.
3. Double-click on the Privacy & Security heading in the list on the left side
    of the window.
4. Choose the Cookies sub-heading.
5. Click to select the Enable all cookies button.
6. Click the OK button near the bottom of the window.

For Other Netscape:
1. Click the Edit button on the top menu bar of your browser.
2. Next, select Preferences.
3. Click on Advanced.
4. Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
5. Select Always accept cookies.

For AOL, version 9.0:
1. From the main toolbar, click on the Settings icon.
2. Find "I" and click on the Internet [Web] Option link.
3. Click on the Security tab.
4. Click on Custom Level button.
5. Click on the "Reset to" button and select the desired Privacy Setting from the
    dropdown menu. Doing so will reset your browser and cookie-related options
    automatically.
      -or-
    Simply click on the Security tab and manually change browser and/or cookie-related
    options by selecting Enable.
6. Click OK to exit.

For AOL, version 8.0:
1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
2. Select Preferences
3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
4. Select the Privacy tab
5. Select Advanced
6. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
7. Click OK to exit.

Safari for Mac OSX
1. Select Preferences, the third option under the Safari title in the menubar.
2. Click the Security (padlock) icon at the top.
3. For Accept Cookies, Select either "Always" or "Only from sites you navigate to"
4. Close this panel by clicking the close control in the upper left hand corner.

A) I've verified that I'm a Cupid.com member,
B) I'm typing Cupid.com directly into my browser's address/locating
C) I'm accepting cookies and I'm still having trouble logging in.

I've done A,B and C above, and I still can't log in. I need to send a message to Customer Service
